You only have seconds;

engage with your website visitors without delay

A seamless and intuitive website begins with the careful consideration of its design and information architecture.

Research shows that you have under ten seconds to engage a website visitor before they lose interest in your site. Is your message getting across? Are visitors locating the content or products that they're looking for? Does your site guide a visitor seamlessly to your primary target page, for example your Enquiry page or Product?

Our website design process keeps the overall aim of your business in mind so that your message or product doesn't get lost in an overly complex design or contrived navigation system. Don't make your users stop and think!

simple site navigation

We make sure that your site navigation isn't contrived or illogical and that content is easy to 'drill-down' to through an intuitive and holistic hierarchy.

calls to action

Don't leave it to chance. Give your website visitors clear opportunities to click through to your 'action' page, whether it be a enquiry form, signup page or purchase link.

clean, uncluttered design

Our designs keep your important information and central themes in the eye of your visitor, clear of clutter.

what our clients say

  • Websites tend to grow and evolve over time. We aim to construct sites with a design and architecture that allow for growth in the future without their navigation becoming contrived or content becoming messy.

    Small websites tend to be easy to cater for. But what about large sites? By establishing a visual hierarchy and sustaining it throughout all pages, not only can an readily expandable architecture be realised, but a user can also use it to gain a feel for how they can drill-down to the information that they require.

  • Websites are no longer one-way communication systems; we now expect sites to be able to seamlessly interact with us. In addition, the internet adds a special and very important issue to the subject of Human-Computer interfaces: that of latency. The delay between a request for a resource and its reception is unpredictable and users form negative impressions of slow sites. Put simply, a fast-loading page is perceived as of high quality and a slow page of low quality, regardless of content.

    With selective use of AJAX and Flash, the user experience can be greatly enhanced, providing immediate feedback to clicks and requests whilst reducing latency. Most importantly, this helps to keep your user engaged and interacting with your website.

  • Did you know that web users tend to skim read a website's content? It's highly likely that a visitor will only read a small propotion of a page's content. For this reason, when designing websites, we make sure copy is easily scan-able. Styling applied through a stylesheet (CSS) means that a consistent textual hierarchy can be maintained site-wide.

    In terms of typography, san-serif fonts are generally the most legible, especially at small size, and a universal system font such as 'Arial' is guaranteed to degrade to all browsers uniformly.
